How soon should I order?
Once we receive your order, we will create a proof for your approval if requested. If no proof is required, we ask for a minimum of 8 weeks’ notice to produce your items. Larger orders containing multiple pieces may require additional time, while smaller orders may be completed sooner.
We do recommend allowing at least 12 weeks, as lead times can be longer during busy periods.
After your order is placed, we will send you our order form to collect all wording for your signage. Once this stage is complete, proofs will be created and sent to you for approval where applicable. If no proof is required, your item will move straight into production and be prepared for posting.
Contact us as soon as you feel you would like us to make your signs and we can discuss your order requirements and get your date in our diary. It is never too soon to plan ahead and get your order in early, we would not want you to miss out because we are too busy making other customers orders and do not have the capacity to make yours.
A 50% deposit will secure your date, with the remaining balance due 10 weeks before your event. Once the final payment has been received, your order will enter production and will be delivered to you 4 weeks before your event.
How long will my order take?
Orders usually take up to 4 weeks from the date ordered plus delivery time. However, if you wanted to place your order early, we can certainly add your order to the diary and get it out to you at least 4 weeks before your event.
UK postage usually takes from 1-5 days and is charged extra based on item weight and size.
International postage is not regularly offered, however please contact, Time to Sign to see if this is a possibility.
Time to Sign cannot be held responsible for delays in transit, so please ensure that you order with enough time to receive your order before your event. You can choose either standard or express shipping at the checkout.
Please note, if international shipping is agreed, Time to Sign cannot be held responsible for a countries duty and import taxes, this will be the responsibility of the customer to check and pay for any additional costs.
Proofs
Proofs can be provided - upon request. Please note that proofs are not offered as standard on most items, and will only be provided upon request.
All proofs are designed in 'black & white' to showcase layout and design.

if a design proof has been requested, we will send a design via email. you will have 48-hours to approve or request amendments. should we not receive a response within this timeframe, your order will proceed to production based on the design and colour selections provided on your order.
How long does it take to receive proofs?
Time to Sign aims to send a design proof no later than 3 weeks after your order has been received, this will usually be sooner, however, please allow this timescale. Should your proofs not be received to your email address added at order, please contact us by using the "Contact Us" box and we will look into your order for you. Remember, once the proof has been accepted, work will then commence and your signs will then take an additional (up to) 4 weeks to make and complete.
We do ask that our designs are replied to within 2 days to keep your order within our production time. Any delays will extend the final completion time and increase the delivery time.
We will not make any signs without them being proof by the customer first prior to them going into production..
How many design alterations can be made during the proof process?
We have a few font choices to choose from and when ordering, please ensure that you pick choose which font you would like your sign designed in.
When you receive your proof, if this is not quite to your liking, you can receive another round of alterations to fonts and layouts free of charge. However, any additional alterations after this time, will incur an extra design cost. This will be quoted based on order size and will need to be approved before any work is commenced.
Can I order samples?
If you are not sure on acrylic colours, we would recommend ordering a small sample of acrylic to see the colour before the whole order is completed and delivered. Samples will take a little longer to obtain, however, we do aim to have them delivered direct from our supply to you within at least 2 weeks. Samples are charge extra.
Can I cancel my order?
If you change your mind and contact us within 48hours of placing your order, we can cancel for you. However, after this time, design proofs will have been started and the materials ordered so there may be a cancellation administration charge. Should you cancel nearer the completion of an order, no refund will be made.
My order has not arrived - what should I do?
Time to Sign will keep you update on the progress of your order throughout its production. We will notify you when the item is due to be dispatched and send a tracking number so that you will be able to track where it is and when it is likely to be delivered.
There are busier periods during the year that may increase the timeframe of orders being made and dispatched and Time to Sign will work on a 'first come, first served basis" meaning that from time to time, orders may be delayed and may be later than the 4 week suggested timeframe. If this is the case, we will always keep you informed of the progress and give you plenty of notice should this arise.
We will always inform the customer when the item has been dispatched, along with a tracking number, and cannot be held responsible for any courier and postal delays once the item has left Time to Sign.
It is always our intention to fulfil orders within the suggested timeframe plus the delivery time, however, we do always recommend order with plenty of time prior to your event. As stated above, we would suggest at least 8 weeks before your event should enable orders to be fulfilled and delivered promptly.
